The Congress will reflect the breadth of the chemical sciences, highlighting the impact of our science and exciting innovations with an overall focus on Chemistry Solutions.

The next meeting in the successful AstroSurf series, Heterogeneous Chemical Processes in the Astronomical Environment, incorporating the inaugural meeting of Working Group 2 of ESF COST Action CM0805 The Chemical Cosmos will be held at University College London between the 15th and 17th of June. The registration deadline for this event is the 29th of May.

The 433. WE-Heraeus-Symposium/Seminar "Anions from the lab to the stars" takes place at Bad Honnef (Germany) at 7-11 July 2009. This conference aims to bring together scientist from a multitude of disciplines (astronomy, chemistry, physics) who are engaged in investigation of the occurrence, structure and dynamics of gas-phase anions in order to discuss latest results and to develop new research strategies. Abstract and registration deadline is 30 April 2009. For further information check the conference website.
