Ronald J Gillepsie

Prof Gillespie, the co-developer of VSEPR (Gillespie-Nyholm) theory, moved from UCL to McMaster University in Hamilton, Ont., Canada. He has recently retired from the faculty but remains active in research.

A Festschrift in Ron Gillespie's honour appeared in 2000 along with an appreciation of his scientific contributions has been published: E.A. Robinson, Coordination Chemistry Reviews, 2000, 197, 3-19.
