Hans Martin Rudolf Hoffmann Tenure: Assistant Lecturer 1961-1963 Lecturer 1963-1976

Martin Hoffmann came to UCL to study with Ingold . He was Hughes' last PhD student and stayed on as a lecturer. In 1976 he moved back to Germany and has taught at the Institute of Organic Chemistry at the University of Hannover where he remains active in teaching and research into natural products chemistry.
