We know virtually nothing about Edward Henry Thierry (not to be confused with the later Henry Terrey). SciFinder only lists three publications for his name, two of them related to petroleum. He published a patent for a furnace for the fuel distillation in which his address (and that of his co-assignee Francis Brian Grant) is given as University College Hall, Ealing W5. Some 25 years later appears a paper relating to the leather industry...... Maybe some relative will tell us something about him?
